Robert Satterwhite leads the Odgers Berndtson U.S. Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness (LOE) Practice. He helps organizations strategically manage executive selection, succession, and development, including assessment, onboarding, coaching, high-potential identification, and team effectiveness, as well as broader programmatic offerings related to organization design, talent and performance management, training, surveys, and culture. Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, he was the Founder and Managing Principal of Talent Acuity, a Partner at The Partnering Group, and Vice President, NE Region at APTMetrics, where his work included providing support on high-profile employment litigation and other mission-critical initiatives. He has extensive expertise across a range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, financial services, private equity, insurance, internet and technology, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, hospitality, and federal agencies. Robert has a Master’s in Psychology and a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and is co-author of the book, The Importance of Psychological Traits. Robert has appeared in Human Resource Executive Magazine,’s Talent Management Excellence Magazine, AESC's Executive Talent Magazine, and Retail Leader, discussing human resources, human capital, and talent management issues. He sits on several advisory boards, including the Design Thinking Program at Rutgers University.
